Things on Strings
These pieces are about making order out of chaos. I attempt to transform the chaotic scribble into a balanced composition which dangles by a thread. The final designs are sometimes reflective of Calder's delicately balanced mobiles. Finding the proper shapes within the construction is meditative and the final drawing reveals what we all need more of in our lives:
